Tomago Aluminium employees have proudly presented an $80,000 donation to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service through its 2026 Workplace Giving Program, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
The donation was celebrated during a morning tea attended by employees and representatives from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Made possible through the generosity of Tomago Aluminium employees who contribute through payroll giving, the donation will help fund the vital emergency aeromedical service that supports communities across the Hunter, Mid North Coast, Central Coast and New England regions.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Fundraising Manager Jason Bourke spoke to employees about the importance of their contribution, explaining that each rescue mission costs around $7,000. This year’s donation has the potential to help support around 12 lifesaving missions.
Tomago Aluminium Chief Executive Officer Jérôme Dozol thanked employees for their continued generosity.

Tomago Aluminium has supported the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service for more than 20 years and has contributed more than $1.2 million since the payroll giving initiative was first established by AWU members.
In addition to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, employees recently selected four other organisations to receive funding through the 2026 Workplace Giving Program: Charlie’s Run for Kids, Our Circle Maitland, OzHarvest and Hunter Animal Rescue who will each receive $17,500.
