More than 100 young artists put their creativity on display as part of Tomago Aluminium’s recent Kids Colouring-In Competition, a family-focused initiative designed to support the company’s Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety campaign.

The competition invited employees’ children to colour in a safety-themed picture for the chance to win a Rigo Kids Electric Ride-On Forklift Loader. While the prizes generated plenty of excitement, the competition also provided an opportunity to engage families in conversations about safety both at work and at home.

Vehicle and pedestrian interaction remains one of the most significant safety risks across many industrial workplaces. Throughout May, Tomago Aluminium focused on raising awareness of this important topic through a range of communications designed to encourage safe behaviours around moving vehicles and equipment.

The colouring competition proved a popular way to involve employees’ families in the campaign, with more than 100 entries submitted from children aged across a range of age groups.

Six-year-old Otto was awarded first place and took home the ride-on forklift, while additional prizes were awarded to runners-up and several highly commended entrants.

All entries were proudly displayed across site, helping reinforce the safety message while celebrating the creativity of employees’ families.
