Fresh from our recent involvement at the Newcastle Show and the Careers and Skills Expo, Tomago Aluminium was recently invited to present at the Hunter Sports High School’s Careers Day.
Nina Stewart, our Talent Acquisition Manager, and Lachlan Benham, a 4th Year Apprentice, represented Tomago Aluminium, engaging with over 80 students about our Apprenticeship Program and our diverse career opportunities.
The turnout was fantastic, with students from various grades showing keen interest in learning about our offerings. The session was so popular they had to turn students away due to space constraints! It was also nice to see some of the children of our employees among the attendees.
The feedback from both students and teachers was overwhelmingly positive, validating our efforts to inspire and educate the next generation of industrial leaders. We were particularly pleased to receive an invitation for a more in-depth visit with students interested in pursuing an industrial apprenticeship.
