Today we came together onsite for our Yarn and Feed session in celebration of NAIDOC Week and this year’s powerful theme: The Next Generation – Strength, Vision & Legacy.

We were honoured to be welcomed to Country by Worimi Elder Justin Ridgeway, followed by an insightful cultural session with Peter Detaurbet, who shared stories, traditions, and ancient artefacts with our team. We also had the pleasure of learning about the didgeridoo from Kaiyu Maynard, who gave a powerful live performance.

Employees enjoyed native-inspired dishes prepared by the Murrook Cultural Centre along with native tea.

We also launched our limited-edition NAIDOC jackets, featuring artwork from our onsite mural by Jason Russell. Later this week, we’re proud to be hosting Christine Feros for a special Art Workshop focused on the power of storytelling through art.

Let’s continue to listen, learn and strengthen our connection to culture and Country.
