Jerome Dozol, Craig Wells, and Katie Burns recently attended the official opening of the Alxin Australia facility, a new aluminium extrusion facility located just across the road from Tomago Aluminium.
Founded in 2020 and formally recognised by the national industry body in 2023, Alxin Australia is poised to become a key player in the extrusion market, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes. Tomago Aluminium is proud to be one of their primary suppliers, supporting the local manufacturing supply chain.
The event marked the commencement of production at the facility, a milestone that not only signals Alxin’s operational launch but also delivers new job opportunities and economic value for the Hunter region.
The ceremony featured a formal presentation, followed by a guided tour offering an in-depth look at the facility’s advanced operations. The close proximity of our site and Alxin will help to streamline the direct supply of aluminium for extrusion.
