Last Monday, we welcomed eight new 1st year apprentices who start their 4-year apprenticeship here at TAC.
Apprentice Training Supervisor, Steven Ott will lead the group through their paces and take them on an accelerated learning curve.
The group consists of five Electrical and three Mechanical apprentices and by the end of the four years, Steven will be able to hand over eight highly skilled and extremely well-qualified tradespeople, with the hope of offering them full-time employment here at TAC at the end of the program.
The process of selecting new apprentices started in May last year with 228 applications. Those shortlisted were required to complete psychometric testing with only a select few being invited for an interview and medical. Congratulations to our eight new apprentices and welcome to TAC!
