Every year, Tomago Aluminium gifts each employee a Christmas ham as a token of appreciation for their hard work and contribution.
Not wishing for any hams to go to waste, 40 leftover hams were donated to OzHarvest and Soul Hub, both local organisations dedicated to feeding the homeless and Newcastle’s vulnerable community.
Both charities visited the site last week to collect the hams and expressed their gratitude. The hams have already been put to good use and will help to feed many families in need this Christmas.
