Last week, TAC hosted the Australian Aluminium Council’s first face to face board meeting since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday the 3rd of May the committee members were also taken for a tour of the plant which included Potlines and an anode change in F room, then a bus tour to the Paste plant, the Rod Shop and through shipping.
The site tour enabled The Australian Aluminium Council‘s Executive Committee the chance to visit Tomago Aluminium and learn more first-hand about the aluminium smelting process.
Committee members included Katie Coulter (AAC), Marghanita Johnson (AAC), Mike Ferraro (Alumina Ltd), Dan Van Der Westhuizen (RTA – TAC Board), and Luke Hawkins (Capral Limited), Ryan De Franck (VBX Limited) and Tony Dragicevich (Capral Limited).
