Tomago Aluminium has always looked after its neighbours, the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens. Last year was no exception and when they reached out to Tomago requesting an urgent need to place their 15-year-old ride-on mower, the business said ‘of course!’.
Despite a long wait due to the pandemic, the mower finally arrived in April and Communications Advisor, Katie Burns, visited the gardens to officially cut the ribbon.
Manager of Business Services, Susie Satorie said, “On behalf of the Board, all the volunteers and the community we want to thank Tomago for your donation to purchase the Ride-on Mower. The vehicle maintenance team are greatly relieved.”
The mower has already been put to good use, especially after the amount of rain we have had this year.
