We’re excited to welcome Michael Kemp to TAC as our Manager for Safety, Health, and Environment. Michael brings with him 20 years of experience, emphasising strong safety protocols and supportive leadership.
Previously, Michael served as the Health and Safety Manager at Port Waratah Coal, where he focused on enhancing business competitiveness and innovation through a risk-based approach to HSE systems and behaviours. With 15 years spent in the Aluminium industry at Alcoa, Michael brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our team.
Michael has a coaching leadership style focused on nurturing skill development and empowering team members to prioritise trust, performance, and purpose. “I’m naturally a very positive person who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals,” Michael said.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and giving back to the community through activities like surf lifesaving and coaching local AFL teams.
