Last week, our CFO, Andrew Newman, presented at the 3rd Annual Industrial Net Zero Conference in Sydney, discussing TAC’s decarbonisation efforts and in particular, our “Repowering the Smelter” journey.
The conference, which emphasised collaboration and cross-sector learning, featured a keynote address by the Hon Tim Ayers, Assistant Minister for Future Made in Australia. It was a key platform for professionals involved in decarbonising heavy industries, including mining, manufacturing, metals, energy, and transportation. The focus was on practical strategies for reducing carbon emissions while maintaining commercial viability.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, form new cross-sector alliances, and explore how to achieve net zero on an industrial scale. The event proved to be an excellent forum for networking and learning about the impressive work being done across the industry.
