Yesterday, Tomago Aluminium proudly celebrated International Men’s Day to recognise the contributions, resilience and positive impact of the men across our workforce and community.
Employees were welcomed at the gates with a bacon and egg roll, fresh coffee from Sprockets, and cupcakes to start the day on a positive note.
We welcomed Joel Furner from Mates in Manufacturing and Nicki Strong from our Employee Assistance Provider, Converge, onsite to offer support, answer questions and have a chat with anyone needing it. Their presence was an important reminder of the support networks available to all employees, especially during challenging times.
A huge thank you to our Health & Safety Committee representatives and our Blue Hatters for helping make the morning possible and for the ongoing support they provide across site.
International Men’s Day is a chance to pause, reflect and acknowledge the role men play at work, at home and in our wider community.
