The service’s crew came up to join us for lunch and thank the staff who have contributed more than $33,000 to the service in the past financial year.
The visit strengthened the ties between TAC and the service and commemorated this long running partnership by giving our generous employees a chance to meet dedicated pilots and medics and climb aboard the chopper without having an emergency. Over 400 of our employees make a regular donation to the service through the out-of-pay scheme, and employees also made a $3350 donation to the service in last year as part of their One Million Hours Recordable Injury-Free milestone celebrations.
