TAC News 2018 Vol. 1
WELCOME TO THIS EDITION OF TAC NEWS
Well, it’s certainly been a long, hot summer and I take this opportunity to thank all our people – particularly those working on shift in the hotter roles on site – for taking care of each other and our business.
This year we managed to avoid a repeat of the February 2017 load interruptions, however we remain actively engaged in the wider energy debate to ensure our critical needs as a baseload operation are understood.
The theme of taking care of each other is front and centre to the rollout of our Mates Looking After Mates video “Coming Home”.
Every person on our site will be scheduled for an opportunity to view and discuss this short video featuring a number of past and present employees discussing the impact a significant incident had on them and their families.
We have been genuinely surprised by the impact this video is having on our work mates; going home to our families at the end of our shift is the bedrock of what we stand for.
