Laboratory Technical Officer

Pre-employment Testing

As part of Tomago Aluminium’s pre-employment assessment process, all applicants are required to complete a medical examination prior to any offer of employment being made.

Candidates are advised that some parts of the plant and some specific activities require the mandatory use of respiratory protection.

As part of the company’s duty of care to prospective employees, we advise candidates with a pre-existing asthma condition that there is a risk of aggravating this condition through exposure to an aluminium smelter environment.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

Tomago Aluminium has a drug and alcohol policy. As part of this policy employees may be subject to random as well as cause drug and alcohol testing. All prospective employees will also be required to undergo testing.

Tomago Aluminium also conducts aptitude testing for candidates as part of our selection process.
