Operator Expression of Interest

We have established an Operator Pool for our site.  This is a register of suitable applicants, who are seeking employment with our company, that we can consider for operator positions as they become available over the next 12 months.  To express your interest in working for Tomago Aluminium as an Operator, please download and complete the “Operator Application Cover Form”.

Your Expression of Interest should include all 3 of the following documents:

• Completed Operator Application Cover Form
• Current Resume (which demonstrates relevant qualifications and experience)
• Cover Letter (outlining why you are interested in working for our company)

Pre-employment Testing

As part of Tomago Aluminium’s pre-employment assessment process, all applicants are required to complete a medical examination prior to any offer of employment being made.  Candidates are advised that some parts of the plant and some specific activities require the mandatory use of respiratory protection.  As part of the company’s duty of care to prospective employees, we advise candidates with a pre-existing asthma condition that there is a risk of aggravating this condition through exposure to an aluminium smelter environment.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

Tomago Aluminium has a drug and alcohol policy. Employees may be subject to random as well as cause drug and alcohol testing.  All prospective employees will also be required to undergo testing.
